Malo zgodovine

Slusam Radio Student preko Firefox-a pa hajde da usput i nesto napisem na blogu.  Stalno sam aktivan na Facebook, a zadnjih dana preleteh dve zanimljive knjige.  Uspomene Tonija Stipanica i Janeza Skrbeja u vezi sa Iskra-Delta eksperimentom 1980-ih.  Podsetilo me na publikaciju povodom 50. godina Instituta Jozef Stefan uredjenu od strane sadasnjeg direktora Jadrana Lenardica.  Necete naci rec Jugoslavija pa je cak i kao ustanovitelj proglasena SAZU umesto UDBA.  Stipanic je YU-korektniji dok je Skrubej "zaboravio" doprinos ne-Slovenaca razvoju IDC.  Kod Stipanica je zanimljivo citati o poslovanju Iskre na samoupravnim temeljima sa posebnim vezama sa JNA te nekorektnostima sa inostranstvom.  Skrubej preuvelicava projekt sa Kineskom policijom koji je unistio IDC i Iskru kada je USA postalo jasno sta se desava sa VAX racunarima preko Jugoslavije.  Moj doprinos u tom periodu je prvi YU 16-bitni racunar PMP-11 razvijen na IJS sada stalno izlozen u Muzeju Novejse Zgodovine na Tivoliju.  Bila je to "zgodba o uspehu" pre odcepljenja...

Etika MP me razocarala pri sporu okrog Piranskega zaliva. "Domacin" ZT se boljse odrezal z usporedbo z Gibraltarjem. Poskus resetiranja je bil skupen. In me veseli, da se nadaljeval z Virantovo listo. Eni pac lazje prenasajo JJ avtoritarizem. Toliko "o postenju"...

Long time, no blogging! This is important historical event for me. I remember Informbiro in 1948, students unrest and Cheho-Slovakia in 1968, fall of Berlin wall in 1989, break-up of Yugoslavia following, 9/11, WMD lies in Iraq and finally a very positive event of AfroAmerican President. 8 years of GWB should be remembered for increased help to Africa. I hope AGAIN world will be a better place...

Finally switched to Google account. Preparing for 2007 June 9th local Ljubljana blogers meeting. Dull it isn't since retirement. 3 weeks in Serbia and one week in Croatia.

Whimsical Self-Indulgence. From an important historic point of view, whimsical self-indulgence was once extremely common amongst those who were involved in the administration of internet forums and discussion boards. Narcissistic, undereducated and power-mad individuals, often with poor social and communication skills, would take it upon themselves to interfere with the postings and discussions of other board users, often using intimidating language and various threats including modifying, deleting or otherwise interfering with posts, threads and subjects. In the worst cases, a whimsically self indulgent moderator could threaten to delete another board user's account, regularly spending vast amounts of time trawling through old posts in a desperate attempt to prove to the board owner or community that their actions are somehow justified. Fortunately, as the internet has matured, so has its userbase and today this kind of behaviour is somewhat rare. It is important to note, however, that some of these characters are still active in various internet communities.

Retired

I finally retired on Nov. 23rd 2006! Received first pension on Dec. 22nd, former YU Army Day.

I guess I might begun blogging soon.
